The Adult Medicine Program provides both well and sick visits for patients 19 years and older. A rapidly increasing number of women and men with chronic illnesses, such as hypertension and diabetes are being served. Dental Health and preventive care is an integral part of each well child and well adult visit. Cleanings, x-rays, fillings, and extractions are provided for adults and children through a contract with the Alexandria Health Department; referrals are made for more extensive dental care needs .
